Privacy Policy
True Clarity Financial Partners ("True Clarity," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our email communications, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.
By using this website or responding to our communications, you agree to the practices described here.
We do not sell your personal information. Section 4 below explains how we handle sharing.
1. Who we are
True Clarity Financial Partners is an insurance agency offering annuity and indexed universal life solutions for retirement income planning, serving educators, educational staff, non-profit health professionals, and public-sector employees.
Insurance business conducted through True Clarity is performed by licensed individual insurance producers holding active insurance licenses in the states where they conduct business, with a practice focused on retirement income planning for the public-sector and education workforce.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly
When you request an appointment, submit a form, or contact us, we may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Employer, school district, or public agency
- General information about your pension, retirement plan, or savings that you choose to share
- Preferred appointment times and any notes you provide
You are not required to give us any of this information. If you choose not to, we may be unable to schedule a consultation or answer your question.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we and our service providers may collect:
- IP address and approximate geographic location
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed, time spent, and referring website
- Campaign tracking parameters appended to links in our emails (for example, which email campaign brought you to the site)
Email engagement information
Our email platform records whether a message was delivered, opened, or clicked, and whether it bounced or was reported as spam. We use this to measure campaign performance and to maintain list quality.
Open tracking works through a small, invisible image embedded in the message. If your email program blocks images, your opens are not recorded. Click tracking works by routing links through our email platform, which registers the click and then forwards you to the destination page.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect Social Security numbers, account numbers, or financial account credentials through this website or through email. If we need that information during an application, we will collect it through the insurance carrier's secure process — never by unsecured email or through a web form on this site.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Schedule, confirm, and conduct consultations
- Respond to your questions and requests
- Prepare information relevant to your pension and retirement situation
- Send you communications about our services, where you have opted in
- Measure the performance of our marketing and improve our website
- Maintain records required by insurance regulators and applicable law
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We are not a lead generation business. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your contact information to other agents, agencies, marketers, or lead buyers. Information you give us is used by True Clarity to serve you.
If you contact us from a state where our representatives are not licensed, we will tell you so. We may suggest that you seek out a licensed professional in your state, but we will not pass your information to anyone else without asking you first.
We share information only in these circumstances:
Service providers. We use vendors to operate our business, including email delivery and campaign management, website analytics, video conferencing, and calendar scheduling. These vendors process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Insurance carriers. If you decide to apply for a product, we share the information necessary to process your application with the issuing carrier. This happens only with your knowledge and at your direction.
Legal and regulatory. We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or regulatory examination, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Business transfer. If our business is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction. Any successor will remain bound by this policy or provide notice of any change.
5. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and to understand how visitors use the site. We use a web analytics service to compile aggregate statistics about site traffic.
Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Doing so may affect how parts of the site function.
Our links may include campaign tracking parameters that tell us which email or campaign a visitor came from. These parameters identify the campaign, not you personally. We do not place your name, email address, or any other identifier into a link.
Pixels and web beacons. We use small, invisible image files — sometimes called pixels, web beacons, or clear GIFs — in our emails and on our website to measure engagement. These are the mechanism behind the open tracking described above.
We do not currently use third-party advertising or social media pixels on this site, and we do not run remarketing or retargeting campaigns. If that changes, we will update this policy before those technologies are deployed.
Our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as no common standard for them has been adopted.
6. Email communications and your choices
We send email only to people who have opted in to receive it.
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may also email contact@trueclarityfp.com and ask to be removed. We process unsubscribe requests promptly and, in all cases, within ten business days as required by federal law.
Unsubscribing from marketing email does not stop transactional messages related to an appointment you have scheduled or an application in progress.
7. Telephone and text communications
If you provide a telephone number, you consent to be contacted at that number regarding your request, including by call or text message. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing calls or texts is not a condition of purchasing any product.
You may withdraw consent at any time by telling us during a call, replying STOP to a text message, or emailing contact@trueclarityfp.com.
8. Video consultations
Consultations are typically conducted by video conference. We do not record consultations without telling you first and obtaining your agreement. Our video conferencing provider processes the session under its own privacy terms.
9. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide services to you and to satisfy recordkeeping obligations under insurance regulations and applicable law. Retention periods for insurance records are generally set by state regulation and commonly extend several years past the end of a relationship.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or render it unidentifiable.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted credential storage.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you should not send sensitive information such as account numbers to us by unsecured email.
11. Your choices about your information
You may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is inaccurate
- Delete information we no longer need to keep
Email contact@trueclarityfp.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond as promptly as we reasonably can.
Some records must be retained under insurance recordkeeping rules even if you ask us to delete them. Where that applies, we will tell you what we are keeping and why.
You may also have rights under state or federal privacy law, depending on where you live and the circumstances. Nothing here limits those rights.
We will not treat you differently for making a request.
12. Children's privacy
Our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at the address below.
13. Third-party websites
Our website and emails may link to sites we do not control, including insurance carriers and government resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their policies before providing information.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where changes are material, provide additional notice. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
